SPOON Pilates, a new studio in the city, offers additional to Pilates Reformer classes, mat classes in a pleasant room with red light and infrared heating, which increases collagen production, stimulates circulation and blood oxygenation, strengthens the immune system, detoxifies and relieves stress. There are different intensities among the mat classes: from full body on fire with dynamic Pilates moves with fitness tools aimed at each muscle group, to Pilates fundamental classes to strengthen the deep core muscles with focus on precision, mind body connection and breathing. The Heated Room

The Hot Pilates Mat Method is coming straight from L.A. and features a contemporary Pilates style originally teached by Shannon Nadj. By attenting the HOT PILATES TEACHER TRAINING with Shannon in West Hollywood, SPOON is now certified to pass the benefits to you as well. SWEATING triggers the release of endorphins, which are natural mood boosters and is one of the body’s natural ways to eliminate toxins.

You are improving your cardiovascular health by exercising in heat and promoting healthy skin as well. The heat from infrared rays penetrates the skin, stimulating the production of collagen, which can improve skin elasticity and firmness.

Don’t forget to bring a towel and water to keep yourself hydated!

The HOT PILATES signature method from L.A. Using fluidity and precision you can expect classical Pilates flows that will bring you back into your body. Slow and controlled movements will allow you to walk off your mat feeling stronger and toned while also working on your mobility, core control and posture.

This classic Pilates mat class fires your core and let you feel the fundamentals with focus on precision, mind body connection and breathing. Additionally, stretching is incorporated throughout the workout to enhance flexibility and hip mobility. Move and sweat in red light and gentle infrared heat. SPOON FULL BODY BURN

The burn is real. This dynamic Pilates high energy mat class will tone and define legs, arms, shoulders, core and seat. We use fitness tools such as resistance bands, BALA sliders, BALA Bangels, BALA bars and BALA Half Moon Blocks to challenge you to your fullest potential. Additionally, stretching is incorporated throughout the workout to enhance flexibility and hip mobility. Through flow and with precision of movement you will leave this class feeling energized and connected.  Move and sweat in red light and gentle infrared heat and challenge mind, body and soul. Enhances flexibility, promotes blood circulation and boosts metabolism.

SPOON UPPER BODY & CORE

Strengthen the upper body and improve your posture by targeting all the little forgotten muscles with precision, breath, and control in this dynamic Pilates mat class. Build all the muscles in your powerhouse, upper, middle, lower abs, obliques, transversus and deep lower back muscles in this class. We use BALA Bangles, BALA Ball and BALA bars to push you to your limits. Additionally, stretching is incorporated throughout the workout to enhance flexibility and hip mobility. Move and sweat in in red light and gentle infrared heat. Enhances flexibility, promotes blood circulation and boosts metabolism. Move and sweat in infrared heat. Enhances flexibility, promotes blood circulation and boosts metabolism.
